Anheuser-Busch InBev (
BUD) is gradually bouncing back from the aftermath of last year's downturn. The company, renowned for its Bud Light brand, announced a profitable fourth quarter and fiscal 2023 results. This announcement followed a narrow escape from a potential strike at 12 US breweries, thanks to a tentative agreement with the Teamsters.
In the fourth quarter, the brewing giant saw a 6.2% increase in quarterly revenue, reaching $14.47 billion, albeit slightly below the expected $15.66 billion. This increase was attributed to higher prices, although the US market, particularly the Bud Light brand, still faced challenges. Despite this, full-year revenue rose by 7.8% to $59.38 billion, falling short of the expected $60.52 billion.
